it takes (at least) two

I forgave him easy

but it wasn’t enough

to make me come again

when he called me names

he said he didn’t mean

I forgave him easy

but it wasn’t enough

for him to make the change—

mid-life hits everyone hard, but

what else could a body do

I forgave him easy

but it wasn’t enough

for two.
